Qualifications

• Diplôme en conception de produits industriels avec spécialité mécanique.
• Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience requise dans un rôle similaire.

Responsabilités

Our instruments measure elemental and isotopic composition in materials down to atomic resolution and equip government and university labs as well as high-tech industrial companies around the world.

As a Methods and Industrialization Technician, you will be attached to the Methods and Industrialization Manager. Your main mission is to:

• Ensure the industrialization of products by integrating the concern for the safety of people and the imperatives of Cost / Quality / Time.
• Provide production support.
• Contribute to improving the organization and processes related to production.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

You are responsible for:

• Ensure the industrialization of products by integrating the concern for the safety of people and the imperatives of Cost / Quality / Deadlines:
• Define ranges and production engagement diagrams (assembly, SEP).
• Define and design the tools to be used in production and after-sales service.
• Define specific packaging and packaging (production and after-sales service).
• Define and standardize working methods, in particular through documents (e.g., operating procedures) for production and service, in collaboration with experts from the departments concerned.
• Ensure the technical interface (in both directions) between R&D and operations (production, after-sales service, Ordo, Purchasing); for example, participation in design reviews.
• Ensure a technological watch on the production processes within its scope.

Provide production support:

• Provide support to production, after-sales service and suppliers (excluding instrument development).
• Process supplier exemption.
• Be the guarantor of vacuum methods within the assembly workshop.

Contribute to the improvement of the organization and processes related to production:

• Facilitate problem-solving groups on production issues.
• Propose organizational improvements for production (e.g., flows and layouts) and manage their implementation according to Lean principles.
• Propose improvements to optimize production (e.g., time reduction) or to facilitate manufacturing by suppliers.

You have:

• BTEC Higher National Diploma in industrial products design.
• Mechanical specialty.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of CAD software.
