To strengthen our team, we are looking for committed and reliable team players who want to make a difference. Currently, we have a position as Technical Support Manager CEDI Ionpure AFS (m/f/d), which can be located near a Xylem site in Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, or the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the field sales team throughout the sales process, including customer calls, site visits, proposals, and performance projections.
  • Size and select appropriate equipment/materials based on customer requirements and input from the sales team.
  • Support programs to increase customer satisfaction, including addressing reliability issues, pricing, availability of spares, timely delivery, and technical support.
  • Disseminate standard product knowledge and provide virtual and on-site training.
  • Evaluate DC power accessories through lab testing, including software and firmware updates.
  • Collaborate with the Technology & Innovation team, Marketing, product managers, and engineering on product improvements.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues by working directly with customers and sales to gather information, analyze results, and develop solutions.
  • Review and interpret failure analysis reports to improve equipment performance.
  • Stay updated on regional regulatory changes impacting equipment design and installation.
  • Work closely with the Global Technical Manager of Ionpure on product performance, quality reports, training, and requirements.
  • Coordinate with the EMEA sales team on project designs, training, troubleshooting, and product specifications.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; relevant industry experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water treatment or similar industry involving process design and equipment specification, with ultrapure water experience.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes, electrodeionization principles, and process design.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical control systems, and use of electrical testing tools.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency in English; knowledge of French is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics, and troubleshoot using engineering drawings.
  • Customer-oriented problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.
