RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

As part of the Saint Brieuc team and reporting to the Site Manager, you will define and execute technical projects to enhance wind farm availability and reliability, focusing on standardization, data digitization, innovation, and supporting operational excellence.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the full lifecycle of assigned projects.
  2. Achieving project goals within time, budget, and quality standards, adhering to industry best practices, HSE, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  3. Ensuring efficient and cost-effective project execution with appropriate resourcing.
  4. Assisting the Site Manager in coordinating works and activities.
  5. Providing technical information to the Operations Engineering team, especially related to onsite assets.
  6. Witnessing specific activities at the wind farm to gather information/evidence as per instructions.
  7. Supporting the Operations Engineering Leads in developing processes and procedures for asset integrity management.
  8. Capturing and sharing lessons learned from offshore wind farm operations across projects, establishing effective mechanisms for this purpose.
  9. Managing technical interactions with OEMs, service providers, consultants, certifiers, and regulators to ensure productive relationships and optimal technical responses.
  10. Providing recommendations and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  11. Contributing to the development of O&M asset integrity management systems to maximize asset value and revenue.
  12. Communicating and implementing O&M technical inputs into new projects.
EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s degree or equivalent, specialized in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Control engineering.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to offshore wind, including Structures, Cables, High Voltage, SCADA, Drivetrains, Electronics, Data analysis.
  • Highly proficient in IT.
  • Relevant offshore wind industry experience.
  • Experience in engineering industry and project team management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make decisions.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills, with foresight to anticipate and mitigate problems.
  • Understanding of technical due diligence processes.
