Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative for the UZIN Brand to join our team at Uzin Utz North America Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, particularly within the construction or flooring industry, and have a proven ability to drive distributor and contractor sales within an assigned territory. This role requires a candidate who is not only skilled in sales but also highly knowledgeable about technical aspects of flooring installation systems.

You should be someone who thrives on building and nurturing relationships with distributors and contractors, always aiming to exceed company sales goals and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales approach, providing industry-leading technical support and guidance to customers, ensuring that they can trust and rely on you as a knowledgeable partner.

Working closely with the UZIN Area Sales Manager and the Regional Sales Manager, you should be a team player, eager to contribute to the overall success of our sales goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals by creating demand of UZIN products in assigned territory, as established by the company
  • Identify, research, develop and maintain relationships with customers and decision makers (distributor and contractor) in the territory, to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Develop list of prospective customers for use as sales leads, through interactions with customers, business contacts, trade shows and other sources
  • Maximize market penetration in assigned territory
  • Implement pricing policies within market segments as directed
  • Introduce, demonstrate and promote all current and new UZIN products
  • Provides competent sales and product training /demos to distributors and contractors.
  • Demonstrates the application and use of the complete UZIN offerings to provide solutions for customers.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of distributor and contractor businesses.
  • Identify opportunities for potential sales to distributors and contractors.
  • Make recommendations to contractors, distributors and existing customers of the various solutions UZIN offers for their business solutions
  • Acquires and reports on competitive business products, programs and marketing materials (market intelligence).
  • Maintains a complete understanding of all UZIN products and systems, including application, usage, programs, pricing and business practices.
  • Maintain CRM database to ensure accurate and updated customer information
  • Routinely resolves customer issues within established guidelines and partners with customers in identifying satisfactory solutions
  • Acts in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors and distributors.
  • Understands competitive products’ advantages and disadvantages.
  • Monitor territory KPI tracking to ensure goals are met.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the Company's products, customers and proprietary information.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas/vehicles.

Education and Experience Preferred
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required
  • Some College, Bachelor's degree in relevant field or Technical School preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in technical trade - Required
  • 2+ years’ experience in technical sales
  • 2+ years’ experience in flooring industry - Required
  • Understanding of UZIN products and application processes
  • Proficient organization and communication skills, with a professional business acumen
  • Technology proficiency – Laptop, Cell Phone, Email, CRM systems
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record- Required
  • Live in the SO CAL area of - Los Angeles,
Annual Salary - $75,000 - $150,000
Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$150,000 (Total comp base/bonus/commission). The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.
