Cozycozy is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Product & Tech team in Paris. You will lead the Engineering team, guiding projects from conception through production, ensuring a smooth, predictable, and high-quality delivery process.

Working at the intersection of Product and Engineering, you will bring a strong product mindset and technical understanding to turn ambitions into concrete solutions, while supporting and growing the team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience managing projects and delivery cycles.
• Experience working in an agile product environment.

Responsabilités

• Project planning and delivery: ensure on-time, high-quality releases; oversee team delivery; identify risks and blockers; maintain visibility of priorities and timelines; ensure smooth release process; improve methods.
• Bridging Product and Engineering: collaborate with Product early in discovery; define technical solutions; challenge requirements; ensure technical considerations are factored into product decisions; facilitate cross-team communication; help build a realistic roadmap balancing capacity.
• Ensuring technical quality: maintainability, robustness, scalability; promote best practices in development, testing, documentation, code reviews; address performance, security, reliability; contribute to architectural decisions.

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join Cozycozy's Product & Tech team. Your role will be to lead the Engineering team and ensure the successful delivery of projects, from conception through to production, while ensuring a smooth, predictable, and high-quality delivery process.

Working at the intersection of Product and Engineering, you will bring a strong product mindset and technical understanding to turn product ambitions into concrete solutions, while supporting and developing the Engineering team.

Key responsabilities

Project planning and delivery

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected level of quality.
• Organize and oversee the Engineering team's delivery.
• Quickly identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and put the necessary actions in place to address them.
• Ensure the team has sufficient visibility on priorities, timelines, and upcoming deadlines.
• Ensure high-quality production releases and a smooth release process.
• Continuously improve development and delivery methods and processes.
• Estimate the resources required to achieve the team's objectives.

Briding Product and Engineering

• Work closely with the Product team from the earliest stages of product discovery and design.
• Contribute to defining technical solutions that effectively address product challenges.
• Challenge requirements and proposed solutions from both a technical and product perspective.
• Ensure that technical considerations, constraints, and dependencies are factored into product decisions.Facilitate communication and collaboration between Product and Engineering.
• Help build a realistic roadmap that balances Engineering capacity and technical considerations.

Ensuring technical quality

• Ensure the maintainability, robustness, and scalability of the solutions we build.
• Promote best practices in development, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability considerations are properly addressed.
• Contribute to architectural choices and key technical decisions

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Proven experience managing projects and delivery cycles.
• Experience working in an agile product environment.
