EventCHI is a Netherlands-based, globally operating tech company leading innovation in the event industry. We’ve built a modular, event-driven microservice platform with powerful capabilities—blockchain-based NFT ticketing, seamless payments, and AI integration. Our stack includes Kafka, Kubernetes, Vault, Redis, MongoDB, and our infrastructure supports multiple React.js and React Native applications.

Now expanding our operations in Bali, we’re building a core technical team to drive product excellence. We're hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead Agile development efforts, optimize delivery, and own performance management using our internal tools integrated with Linear.

The Role

As our Technical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing backend development projects, managing Agile workflows, and driving cross-functional collaboration between developers, and designers. You will ensure that projects meet deadlines and standards, while also leading performance management efforts across the engineering team.
You’ll use tools like Linear and our Performance Management App to ensure every contributor is aligned with business objectives, delivering value, and growing consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Run Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

Break technical requirements into actionable project tasks and milestones.

Track delivery through metrics like velocity, sprint completion, and blockers.

Collaborate with developer to ensure architecture, security, and scalability are prioritized.

Manage risks, communicate progress to stakeholders, and keep teams focused.

Performance Management

Use our Performance Management App to create OKRs, goals, and personal growth across the team.

Lead regular performance check-ins and 1:1s using both human feedback and delivery data.

Integrate Linear activity (tickets completed, sprint contribution, velocity) into performance dashboards.

Create performance reports to identify high performers and those needing support or coaching.

Support structured feedback, peer reviews, and professional development planning.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years managing technical software projects, ideally in microservice or cloud-native environments.

Strong command of Agile practices and experience using tools like Linear, JIRA, Notion, Trello, etc.

Familiarity with backend technologies: Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and cloud infrastructure (GCP/Kubernetes).

Understanding of AI technologies is a plus but needs to be highly interested

Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Experience with performance management frameworks (OKRs, 360 feedback, etc.).

Work from our Bali office.
