Job description

Context: The consultant will join the team as Product Owner for the API & File Flow product for Wealth Management Savings, within the WinPart Agile train. The context involves a significant transformation: capabilities currently distributed between two separate teams – API and File Flow – will be consolidated into a single API & File Flow product. The objective is to unify product responsibility, strengthen functional and technical consistency, pool skills, and improve activity prioritization. The PO will be supported by two lead Business Analysts, one specializing in APIs and the other in file exchanges.Responsibilities • Champion the vision, roadmap, and trajectory of the API & Feed product. • Structure and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, technical challenges, risks, and commitments. • Manage delivery. • Control dependencies, risks, and trade-offs. • Ensure the functional and technical consistency of the product. • Unite teams and stakeholders around priorities. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, architects, Tech Leads, and Product Managers. • Challenge solutions and technical choices. • Identify opportunities for pooling, streamlining, and improving the API & Feed assets. • Contribute to the quality, security, performance, and sustainability of the product.Essential skills The client is primarily looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical background, and not just a functional PO profile.Key Skills: • Significant experience as a Product Owner on a technical product or IT platform. • Product Management / Product Ownership. • Product Backlog management and prioritization. • Product roadmap development and management. • Strong understanding of APIs / API Management. • Expertise in data flow and exchange issues. • Strong understanding of IT architectures and integration challenges. • Risk, dependency, and trade-off management. • Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, Lean-Agile. • Ability to communicate effectively with architects, Tech Leads, and developers.Valued/Differentiating Skills : • Experience with Scaled Agile/SAFe. • Experience in the insurance sector. • Experience in banking. • Knowledge of wealth management/savings and investment products. • Understanding of quality, security, and operational issues.Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is an experienced and technically credible Product Owner, capable of taking responsibility for a highly interconnected IT product and becoming the point of reference for the API & Data Flow scope. Beyond Agile expertise, the client expects a strong ability to balance business value, technical constraints, risks, and commitments.
