Qualifications

• Several years of experience beyond your PhD spanning quantum physics, microwave engineering and numerical methods.
• You are comfortable challenging results and can rigorously justify why a result is trusted.
• You want to own a technical direction rather than contribute to someone else’s roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Own the numerical simulation strategy for superconducting qubits, setting direction and verification criteria.
• Define the simulation approach—from microwave design to qubit dynamics—and establish when results are trustworthy.
• Collaborate with physicists and engineers to identify gaps and drive fixes rather than following a pre-defined plan.
