Qualifications

Responsabilités

  • Assurer la formation sur les moteurs à l'Académie Diesel.
  • Créer des modules de formation internes pour les employés.
  • Analyser les retours de formation et mettre en œuvre des améliorations continues.

We are looking for a Technical Instructor specialized in diesel for our Special Applications activity, based in Surgères.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities within the Diesel Academy SPA include:

  • Deliver engine training based on existing modules: Module A, B, C, D, in support and agreement with the technical service.
  • Create and deliver internal engine training for employees.
  • Review, update, modernize, and propose new training modules based on archives of the L&S Academy.
  • Collaborate with Technical Assistance to develop a training module on twin engines.
  • Develop advanced engine training modules for CNPE operators, aligned with START2025 and Field Service results.
  • Create tailored training modules based on customer and internal requests, following the methodologies of the Land&Sea Academy and existing engine documentation.
  • Ensure technical content remains current and aligns with QPTM standards.
  • Prepare documentation for each training session: convocations, programs, theoretical and practical outlines, certificates, evaluations, etc.
  • Analyze training feedback and implement continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate with external training organizations in mechanical, engine, and nuclear fields.
  • Utilize Skill Up for tracking and organizing training sessions.
  • Serve as the reference for Diesel Academy WSPA activities, including engine school and module promotion.
  • Train internal trainers, providing pedagogy and group facilitation skills, ensuring quality and certification of trainer competencies.

All activities will adhere to Wärtsilä's commitments to Quality, Safety, and Environment. Occasional missions related to training support may be assigned, including internal technical requests and travel to the Land&Sea Academy in the Netherlands.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Holder of a Bac+2 to Bac+5 degree in engine, mechanical, or mechanical engineering fields.
  • Trainer certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a technical engine expert.
  • Knowledge of engine specifics in the industrial sector.
  • Strong safety and security culture.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
