Job summary
Black & White Engineering is seeking a Technical Director to provide strategic technical leadership across our rapidly growing European business, shaping delivery standards and client engagement for mission-critical data centre projects.
You will mentor engineers, drive bids and business development in France, collaborate with regional leaders, and uphold engineering excellence while expanding our presence in the French market and across Europe.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Technical Director, Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise across multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
- Commercial awareness with growth and delivery experience.
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
- Experience in mission-critical, data centre or complex building projects is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical leadership across multiple projects and regions.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across the business.
- Lead client relationships, bids and business development in France and Europe.
- Drive delivery quality, risk management and cross-regional collaboration.
