What is my challenge?

We are seeking an experienced and tech-savvy Technical Copywriter with a deep understanding of platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and an interest in sustainable IT practices. In this role, you will create clear, impactful content that communicates Cycloid's unique value, boosts engagement, and enables customers to maximize our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to produce content including product documentation, website content, product pages, copy, technical blog posts, case studies, and instructional videos.

Responsibilities

1. Content Creation: Develop and maintain high-quality, engaging, and accurate content for Cycloid's product pages, tech blogs, documentation, and other customer-facing resources.
2. Product Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation guiding users through product features, updates, and platform capabilities, ensuring a seamless user experience.
3. Technical Writing: Craft clear, detailed, and jargon-free technical content on topics such as DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, FinOps, and GreenOps.
4. Video and Multimedia: Collaborate with the team to script, storyboard, and create product demos, tutorial videos, and webinars to communicate product features effectively.
5. SEO and Content Optimization: Optimize content for search engines and ensure best practices for readability, accessibility, and engagement.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to align content with Cycloid's branding, tone, and mission.

What should I bring to the table?

• Experience: At least 3 years in technical writing or content creation, ideally within DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering domains.
• Technical Background: Solid understanding of platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps principles, FinOps, and/or GreenOps, with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible language.
• Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy; ability to adapt tone based on the audience.
• Multimedia: Experience with video scripting and storyboarding is a plus.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to gather information from technical teams and translate it into customer-focused content.
• Tools: Familiarity with CMS platforms, video editing tools, and basic SEO best practices.
