Position Summary
The position is responsible for supporting the European Biologics Business Unit and Limoges Site Operations by coordinating and managing interactions at the site with Catalent Cham and existing end-customers. It provides on-site support for new end-customer BD opportunities and coordinates intercompany processes between Catalent Cham (CPS) and the site.
The Role
- Acts as the key point of contact for CPS and end customers (existing and new) working within the site, ensuring high communication standards between all parties.
- Participates in project teams for new product introductions at the facility.
- Leads the post-transfer site team to ensure timely processing of CPS and customer inquiries until positive resolution.
- Leads and coordinates meetings and visits with end customers and CPS to review relevant activities.
- Works with the site team to implement cost-effective practices and processes.
- Works as an integral member of the European business team, collaborating with Contract Management & Commercial Operations, GM, NPI, supply chain, customer service, and BD teams to identify and pursue revenue opportunities with existing customers, supporting the delivery of budgeted revenue numbers.
- Cooperates with various departments to prepare and negotiate commercial contracts for targeted end customers.
- Provides support during negotiations with end customers on technical proposals.
- Supports contract tracking to ensure relevant provisions and technical changes are captured.
- Collaborates on executing new contracts and oversees the scope and technical aspects of quotations.
- Leads RoFo analysis in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Supports contract negotiations for renewals with end customers.
- Participates in global and regional initiatives and projects, leading when requested.
Studies and Career Background
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in sciences such as biologics, pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, or chemical engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing, quality, technical project management, business management, or business development.
- Industry knowledge of drug product and biologic development, analytical R&D, scale-up, manufacturing, quality, validations, and regulatory affairs.
- Analytical and financial skills, business acumen, and strong client relationship management background.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
