Description du poste

This position is fully remote, allowing you to bring your best from wherever you are.

We are currently seeking a Technical Animator to join our team on a contract basis . This role is project-dependent , meaning the duration and continuation of the contract will be tied to specific project needs and timelines.

The Technical Animator will join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing animation assets, improving runtime performance, and ensuring seamless integration between animation and gameplay systems. You will work closely with both animators and developers to streamline pipelines, support localization and multi-language requirements, and implement flexible, reusable solutions for character and UI animation systems.

Working Style

This is a technical and repetitive cleanup task, not a creative animation role. The ideal candidate is methodical, responsible, and comfortable doing structured work that requires accuracy and consistency.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Open existing Spine files and identify all text image attachments used for localization.
  • Replace those text images with an existing placeholder image already packed in the Spine file (to avoid triggering new atlas generation).
  • Position the placeholder correctly in the center of the original text area.
  • Transfer all animation keys and curves from the original image slot to the placeholder so it inherits the same animation behavior.
  • Document or label the placeholders clearly so developers can attach the dynamic text containers in implementation.

What you'll bring to the team :

  • Solid understanding of Spine 2D and animation workflows.
  • Ability to work with existing Spine files and preserve animation structure.
  • Attention to detail when transferring animation keys and placements.
  • Ability to follow naming conventions and technical constraints (no new assets, reuse existing images only).

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with localization support or UI animation work.
  • Ability to communicate directly with developers if needed for clarification.
