Description du poste

Ubisoft Entertainment is seeking a Technical Animation Director for the Assassin's Creed Mirage project. This full-time role offers a hybrid working organization and involves collaboration across a diverse international team of over 20,000 members.

Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in game and technical design meetings to identify technical animation needs.
  2. Coordinate between animation and programming teams, serving as the main contact point.
  3. Communicate technical constraints and their rationales to the animation team.
  4. Provide technical support for tools and engine usage within the animation team.
  5. Supervise the design, integration, and validation of in-game animations and cinematics, including facial animation pipelines.
  6. Address all technical animation issues as the primary technical point of contact.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience as a Technical Animator in shipping one or more games.
  • Proficiency in Python, including plugin development.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in C#.
  • Good understanding of animation principles, rigging, skinning, and motion capture.
  • Excellent knowledge of Maya and other 3D software.
  • Deep knowledge of human anatomy.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and mentor team members.
