Your work environment

Within Operations, the "Reinsurance Accounting & Administration" department is organized into 2 geographical and one cross-functional divisions. Each geographical division is responsible for the administrative, accounting, and financial management of its area’s P&C and Life reinsurance portfolios.

Your objectives

  • Ensure all administrative, accounting, and financial operations related to the management of reinsurance portfolios in compliance with procedures and deadlines
  • Contact for accounting and financial matters related to reinsurance portfolios of his/her scope

Your missions

  • Process contractual data into the accounting system
  • Monitor, verify and process reinsurance accounts received from ceding companies in the dedicated IT system
  • Ensure consistency and conformity with the contractual terms and condition
  • Set up and send (retro)cession reinsurance accounts to the reinsurers/brokers
  • Ensure the management of settlements and the financial follow-up of third parties
  • Actively participate in department projects, particularly those related to the evolution and enhancement of reinsurance accounting and data exchanges tools (writing specifications, testing, users training…)

Your profile

  • Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts and 3-4 years of experience in an insurance/reinsurance technical accounting department
  • Computer literate and good level in managing data in computer systems
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems and make decisions
  • Writing skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Autonomy, thoroughness, proactivity, good communication skills
