Your work environment

Within Operations, the "Reinsurance Accounting & Administration" department is organized into 2 geographical and one cross-functional divisions. Each geographical division is responsible for the administrative, accounting, and financial management of its area’s P&C and Life reinsurance portfolios.

Your objectives

• Ensure all administrative, accounting, and financial operations related to the management of reinsurance portfolios in compliance with procedures and deadlines
• Serve as the contact for accounting and financial matters related to reinsurance portfolios within your scope

Your missions

• Process contractual data into the accounting system
• Monitor, verify, and process reinsurance accounts received from ceding companies in the dedicated IT system
• Ensure consistency and conformity with contractual terms and conditions
• Set up and send (retro)cession reinsurance accounts to reinsurers/brokers
• Manage settlements and financial follow-up of third parties
• Participate actively in department projects, especially those related to improving reinsurance accounting and data exchange tools (writing specifications, testing, user training)

Your Profile

• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts and 3-4 years of experience in an insurance/reinsurance technical accounting department
• Proficiency in managing data in computer systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Autonomy, thoroughness, proactivity, and good communication skills
