Qualifications

Description du poste

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Presales Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting sales efforts, securing new business, and strengthening relationships with existing customers.

As a Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process, developing strong technical relationships with customers, and providing expertise throughout the sales cycle to ensure business success. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in post-sales activities, maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for upselling and expansion.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Enea’s sales team and work alongside our R&D, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead and manage technical customer meetings and workshops to understand requirements and present solutions.
  • Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoC), and support proposals.
  • Conduct customer training sessions on product usage and best practices.
  • Analyze customer needs and propose tailored technical solutions in coordination with technical and sales departments.
  • Contribute to tender response strategies, including drafting the technical-commercial sections and ensuring proper solution sizing.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our products and engage with potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities, providing technical guidance during the prospecting phase.
  • Support sales teams with technical insights during customer negotiations.
Competences:
  • Knowledge of IP networks, protocols, internet-based services, and related applications.
  • Basic understanding of network architecture and networking tools.
  • Intermediate skills in C programming, including data structures, algorithms, and POSIX multi-thread programming and debugging.
  • Experience with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) technology.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably in a presales or support capacity.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English, with the ability to learn and articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Education:
  • Engineering degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications or cybersecurity industries, including experience with service providers, network equipment manufacturers, or system integrators.
