Une société leader dans le domaine du transport maritime recrute un Expert fiscal pour rejoindre son département fiscal à Marseille. Le candidat participera à diverses missions fiscales, travaillant au sein d'une équipe dynamique et ouverte, impliquée dans des projets tant en France qu'à l'international.

Qualifications

  • Diplôme en droit fiscal et environ 4 ans d'expérience.
  • Connaissance approfondie de la comptabilité nécessaire.
  • Anglais courant à l'écrit et à l'oral.

Responsabilités

  • Assistance aux équipes comptables et opérationnelles sur les questions fiscales.
  • Rédaction de notes fiscales et recherches techniques.
  • Surveillance fiscale liée aux activités du groupe.

YOUR ROLE


As part of the Group's Tax Department, you will work in the Corporate, Audit & Risks team as part of an open and collaborative team of 9 people.

You will report to the manager in charge of French tax.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You will be involved in a variety of tax assignments, the main tasks of which will focus on the following 4 areas:

  • Assistance with French tax issues:

o Tax assistance to accounting teams and operational departments
o Drafting tax memos and carrying out technical research

  • Tax review of French companies:

o Ensuring the application of tax standards to the Group's French companies
o Preparation of rescript applications to the tax authorities
o Tax reviews of French companies and tax consolidation for tax returns

o Management of tax consolidation

o Tax reviews and tax validation as part of quarterly accounting closures

o Control of the various tax and reporting obligations incumbent on the Group's French companies and handling of related complaints

o Ensuring that tax standards are applied to the Group's French companies

  • Monitoring:

o Ensure tax monitoring in relation to the Group's activities, assess the consequences of changes in legislation or case law, participate in their application and communication

o Participation in monitoring tax audits
o Collecting and preparing responses and documentation to be submitted
o Technical research relating to audits

Your main contacts will be members of the Finance department (social accounting department and consolidation department), CFO and subsidiaries accounting teams, IT project management and the Legal department.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have a degree in tax law (Master II in Tax Law and/or DJCE) and around 4years' experience
  • Good accounting knowledge is a prerequisite forsuccess in this role
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • IT tools hold no secrets for you: you are agile with Excel, tax tools (CEGID, CTU) and accounting tools
  • The qualities required for this position are as follows:

o Ability to communicate, listen and advise: your human qualities will enable you to succeed in this role
o Ability to analyse and summarise, very good writing skills
o Proactivity and a desire to understand operational issues
o A keen interest in designing and implementing procedures and processes
