Mistral.ai is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to define and execute our hiring strategy while leading a high-performing recruiting team. This role blends hands-on recruitment for critical roles with strategic leadership to ensure efficient hiring aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate recruiting in competitive markets.

• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Fluent in English with international recruiting experience.

The Role

As Talent Acquisition Lead on the People team, you will define and execute Mistral’s hiring strategy while leading and developing a high-performing recruiting team. This role combines hands‑on recruiting for critical positions with strategic leadership to ensure our hiring processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with Mistral’s mission. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional leaders to build a diverse, skilled workforce that drives our growth and reinforces our reputation as a top employer in the competitive talent market.

• Innovate and optimize by recommending and implementing improvements to tools, workflows, and strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience: 8+ years in corporate recruiting, with a focus on competitive markets.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire recruiting teams.

• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Operational excellence: Experience managing projects and people with discipline, precision, and a results‑driven mindset.

• Strategic agility: Ability to balance high‑level strategy with hands‑on execution.

• Influence: Skilled at driving alignment and collaboration across functions without direct authority.

• Adaptability: Quick learner who can master new topics and pivot in a fast‑moving environment.

• Global perspective: Fluent in English with experience in international recruiting.

• Tool proficiency: Familiarity with Ashby, Modernloop, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools.
