Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer located in Chantilly, VA. The customer needs an engineer with experience in GEOINT mission management, focusing on HCF (High-Capacity, Find, Fix, Track, Target, and Engage and Assess Constellation). This involves a newly developed joint architecture for remote sensing satellites. Expertise in planning end-to-end system demonstrations is highly desirable.

What will you do?

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer to achieve innovative capabilities for collection orchestration.
  2. Provide systems engineering and technical support to the government customer to evolve collection orchestration programs; develop and evaluate system trades and interfaces throughout the program lifecycle.
  3. Plan, integrate, and execute system demonstrations within fixed availability windows.
  4. Develop briefings and documentation for Program/Project Manager engagements, including technical roadmaps and acquisition strategies/documentation.
Do you have what it takes?

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with nine (9) years or more experience; Master's degree with seven (7) years or more; PhD or JD with four (4) years or more. Relevant experience may substitute for degrees.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience supporting Solution Content within the IC.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in team environments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
