Overview:

BlueHalo, an AV Company, is seeking a talented Systems Administrator to join an exciting, mission-focused information technology team for an on-premise, cloud-based Windows and Linux environment for a technical federal program in the BlueHalo, an AV Company, Intel Portfolio. We are looking for a team member who will keep our customers' mission central while supporting the operation and maintenance of the enterprise Windows environment and Linux architecture. The ideal candidate must be able to install, configure, support, and maintain hardware and software, and thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires work schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Active Directory domain and infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.
2. Configure server roles, promote server roles such as domain controllers, configure RAID, and configure services provided from network servers.
3. Configure and deploy Windows servers and workstations in virtual and physical environments.
4. Manage hypervisor hosts and VMs.
5. Maintain systems by tuning performance, allocating storage, and applying critical patches.
6. Support procurement of hardware and software not associated with enterprise systems.
7. Develop new technical solutions to achieve IT objectives using ingenuity and creativity.
8. Maintain and coordinate assets in the enterprise inventory system.
9. Respond to various ad hoc IT support requests.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
2. 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3. Experience managing and maintaining PC, server, laptop, and printer hardware and software.
4. Experience working outside of an enterprise IT environment.
5. Experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2022/2016, Microsoft SQL Server, WSUS, MECM, and Dell EMC Unity Storage.
6. Ability to manage tasks efficiently and adapt to changing requirements.
7. Strong team collaboration and customer service skills.
8. Ability to create and maintain system documentation.
9. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
10. Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Rubrik, Linux, Unix, VMware/ESXi, Software License management.
• Fiber Optic (ST, SC, LC) and CAT-6 cabling termination experience.
