Jobtailor in Nice is seeking a hands-on L3 Support engineer to troubleshoot MARSS systems, both remotely and on-site when required. You will handle Linux shell operations, validate hardware and sensors, and contribute to knowledge bases.

You will collaborate with developers, field engineers, and project managers, perform system configuration and calibration, and assist with pre-commissioning activities. The role involves occasional on-duty coverage and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux expertise, shell-based troubleshooting.
• Networking experience with hardware components in system integration.
• Fluent English communication and customer-oriented mindset.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with electronics/hardware devices is a plus.
• Knowledge of security sensors (Radar, Sonar, Camera systems, etc.).
• Familiarity with Python and JavaScript.

Responsabilités

• L3 Support for MARSS products and services, including remote troubleshooting via shell.
• Proactive system and sensor checks and calibration.
• Document troubleshooting steps, intervention reports, and knowledge base updates.
• Collaborate with other teams and support Field Engineers remotely.
• Interface with dev teams for L3 issues and project managers during pre-commissioning.
• Provide on-site support travel as needed to client sites.

Responsibilities

• L3 Support over the portfolio of MARSS Products and Services: Engage in Systems troubleshooting through remote shell connection
• Proactive checks of systems and sensors
• Documentation: create / update troubleshooting procedures, intervention reports, ad-hoc tips and guides, Knowledge Base
• Collaboration and support with other teams
• Engage in L1 / L2 Support for products and services
• Support our own Field Engineers and Field Technicians remotely
• Interface with the dev team for L3 issues
• Interact with Project Managers in pre-commissioning phases
• Systems fine-tuning and calibration
• Configuring & Commissioning system devices / servers
• Participate in or own technical assignments
• Ad hoc on-duty time out of office hours
• Travel to sites for local support
