An established industry player is seeking a Sustainable Investment Analyst to oversee comprehensive ESG analyses of various issuers and projects. This role involves performing qualitative and quantitative assessments to enhance sustainability policies embedded in investment strategies. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, provide insights on ESG quality, and support commercial teams with client requests. The Sustainable Investment Analyst oversees the full ESG analysis of the issuers/projects invested in the sustainable strategies managed by SCOR Investment Partners across different asset classes: corporate bonds, corporate loans, real estate, infrastructure loans, etc.
Within SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP), the Sustainable Investment Team is responsible for the sustainable investment process, performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, and developing tools to achieve a state-of-the-art sustainability policy fully embedded in the investment process. The team makes recommendations to portfolio managers based on the current situation and expected changes in the issuer’s ESG quality. The head of Sustainable Investment reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
Within the Sustainable Investment team, you will be responsible for the full ESG analysis of your assigned issuers/projects. Your input will be integrated into the investment process of the underlying sustainable funds managed by SCOR Investment Partners.
Your main responsibilities will include performing detailed analysis of a list of issuers/projects, producing ESG analyses and warnings at inception and throughout the investment lifecycle.
You will also contribute to defining new ESG processes and improving existing methodologies. Additionally, you will perform research, inform SCOR IP on updates in sustainable finance, support commercial teams with ESG client requests and RFPs, and analyze portfolios’ ESG data.
Masters in Sustainable Finance, Finance with a sustainability major, Economics, or equivalent
