SCOR invites an internship within the Sustainable Insurance team in Paris. You will reinforce the team and engage with topics on sustainable development and underwriting, focusing on climate change and biodiversity. The role involves collecting ESG data and developing reporting aligned with stakeholder expectations.

Applicants should be proficient in Excel, familiar with Office, and ideally know Python. Education in business, engineering or sustainability is preferred, with a desire to complete

Qualifications

• Fluent in Excel and Office package.
• Knowledge of Python would be appreciated.
• Interest in sustainability; rigor, curiosity and interpersonal skills are desirable.
• Education in business, engineering or related postgraduate studies, ideally with specialization in finance, insurance or sustainability.

Responsabilités

• Study topics and methodologies relating to sustainable development and sustainable underwriting, focusing on climate change and biodiversity.
• Analyze underwriting opportunities and risks; assess impact and materiality of sustainability topics (GHG emissions, deforestation, freshwater, plastic).
• Develop extra-financial indicators and reporting on underwriting portfolios in line with stakeholder expectations.
• Collect and use ESG data.
• Help spread ESG culture within the company and assist underwriters to integrate ESG considerations.
