SURF UMBILICAL SPECIALIST Engineer

We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader company in Oil and Gas Sector, a SURF UMBILICAL SPECIALIST Engineer

Position based in Paris

Responsibilities:

The Service Holder will be responsible for all the dynamic & static umbilical design activities, support to their installation activities and technical matters related to the project, as part of the GPI (‘’Groupe Project Interne’’) Project team.

This will include but not be limited to reviewing, approving, preparing and managing all studies and Contractors, Suppliers and Sub-Suppliers documentation related to the Service Holder field of expertise during FEED, Call for Tender and EPCI phases.

The Service Holder shall also assist the control system, flow assurance, risers and flowlines design specialists in all matter related to the Service Holder field of expertise (interference issues, chemicals flow assurance, etc...).

The Service Holder will provide support to the SURF Technical Manager and the SURF team and liaise with other project teams (SPS, FPSO & Field Operations).

Qualifications:

1. Experience within project: at least 10 years in large offshore oil & gas SURF very deep water projects and experience in umbilical design on an EPCI project. Very strong experience in dynamic umbilicals design and fabrication mandatory.
2. Good knowledge of relevant codes (DNV).
3. Previous experience with Major SURF Contractors during project execution for deep water project and follow-up of the engineering and procurement of umbilicals.
4. Previous experience with Umbilical Manufacturing Supplier.
5. Positive, constructive, proactive and pragmatic mindset.
6. Ability to work within large teams with other parties (Contractors, suppliers, HQ technical teams, etc).
7. Previous experience within a complex and multicultural working environment.
