Sunrise is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to oversee end-to-end materials flow for Sunrise manufacturing and Dreem Health clinics. The Supply Chain & Procurement Manager is responsible for establishing and controlling the flow of materials, components and finished devices across Sunrise's manufacturing operations and Dreem Health's clinic operations. This encompasses procurement and supplier management for raw materials and components used in manufacturing our medical devices at our Belgium production site; production/supply planning to keep manufacturing output aligned with demand; inventory planning and stock-cost optimization for HST and PAP devices and accessories; logistics and shipping-cost management for customer orders sold internationally across the EU, UK, US and Australia; and management of third‑party logistics (3PL) providers in the US, where Dreem Health's clinic volume is concentrated.

The role requires coordinating closely with Manufacturing, Quality/Regulatory, Finance and Dreem Health's clinical operations team to keep material and device availability, cost, and compliance aligned as the business scales across markets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Inventory planning & stock optimization

• raw materials, components and finished devices (Sunrise manufacturing) and for HST devices, PAP machines and accessories at the clinic (Dreem Health).


• Set and continuously tune safety stock levels per SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)/region to hit an in‑stock target for clinic and commercial operations while minimizing carrying and storage costs.


• Select and implement inventory management tooling (WMS / inventory module) and the reporting cadence to give real‑time visibility into stock position and stock cost.


• Define and own inventory KPIs.

Manufacturing & supply coordination

• Build and maintain the master production/supply plan with the manufacturing team for Sunrise medical devices.


• Flag and elevate supply risk (single points of failure, lead‑time slippage, component shortages); maintain a dual‑sourcing or contingency plan for critical, single‑source components.


• Coordinate kitting, fulfillment and return management for HST device, PAP machine and accessories shipments, including return management.

Logistics & shipping cost optimization

• Own the logistics of international customer orders — EU, UK, US and Australia — with primary cost focus on the EU→US lane and US domestic distribution.


• Own total landed cost of shipping, with primary focus on EU→US freight and US domestic distribution.


• Evaluate and renegotiate carrier/freight‑forwarder terms.


• Manage Incoterms selection and trade‑compliance obligations (customs classification, denied‑party/export screening as applicable) for cross‑border shipments, in addition to cost and duties exposure.


• Model and reduce customs/duties exposure on EU‑manufactured devices entering the US.


• Report shipping cost per device/per shipment as a standing KPI, with a cost‑reduction target and trendline to the executive team.

3PL management (US)

• Own the relationship with US third‑party logistics providers: contract terms, SLAs, performance review cadence, and issue escalation.


• Run RFPs/vendor selection when current 3PL performance or pricing no longer fits scale.


• Own the operational interface between 3PL(s) and internal systems (order flow, inventory sync, returns processing).

Procurement

• Negotiate and manage purchase contracts for raw materials and components used in Sunrise's manufacturing, plus finished goods for the clinic: HST devices, PAP machines and accessories.


• Run vendor selection and pricing negotiation.


• Own supplier contract terms: pricing tiers, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, quality/warranty terms.


• Maintain a supplier performance scorecard (price, quality, lead time, reliability) and use it to drive renewal/renegotiation cycles.

Quality, regulatory & traceability

• Execute supplier qualification per the Quality Management System: qualification audits/assessments, maintaining the approved supplier list, and quality agreements — in partnership with Quality/Regulatory.


• Own lot/UDI traceability for raw materials and components through to finished device, and maintain the process such that a recall or field action can trace affected lots back to source materials and forward to shipped units.


• Ensure procurement and logistics activities are documented to support inspection/audit readiness.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or operations management, including direct ownership of inventory planning and carrier/3PL relationships.


• Demonstrated track record of reducing shipping/logistics cost at a company shipping physical goods internationally, ideally EUUS.


• Experience managing 3PL relationships in the US: contracting, SLA management, performance review.


• Working knowledge of import/customs processes for goods moving from the EU into the international (US, UK, AU).


• Hands‑on experience with an ERP/MRP system (demand planning, inventory, production scheduling modules) as a super‑user or functional owner, not just an end user.


• Comfort building process and tooling from a low‑maturity baseline rather than optimizing an existing mature system.


• Full professional fluency in English.

Preferred

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharma, or similarly regulated hardware) with working knowledge of ISO 13485, EU MDR, and/or cGMP as applied to supply chain and procurement.


• Direct procurement/purchase‑contract negotiation experience with hardware manufacturers or raw material suppliers.


• Experience with reverse logistics / return programs.


• French language skills, given internal coordination with an EU‑based leadership team.

Work Environment

• Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Euro/year


• EU-based (remote/hybrid).


• Working hours must overlap meaningfully with US business hours (target: afternoon CET / morning‑to‑midday ET) to run vendor calls, 3PL escalations and time‑sensitive shipping decisions in real time.


• Periodic US travel expected for 3PL site visits, vendor negotiations and carrier reviews (at minimum once a year).


• Interfaces with manufacturing/production team, US 3PLs and carriers, Finance, Customer/Patient Care team.


• Externally facing freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PLs and hardware suppliers.
