Qualifications

  • Experience in Buying/Planning Supply Chain, especially in Food, Drink, or FMCG.
  • Warehouse and forklift experience in fast-paced environments.

Description du poste

Join our busy Logistics Team as a Supply Chain Manager at an iconic Cornish business. In this role, you will ensure no out-of-stock lines and plan materials according to production needs.

Salary & Hours

£40,000 - £50,000 per year, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, with some weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and merchandise on site.
  2. Assist with stock rotation and efficient material use to reduce waste.
  3. Place orders for production materials within supplier lead-times to prevent shortages.
  4. Plan inbound deliveries, confirm delivery dates with suppliers, and reduce failed deliveries.
  5. Perform regular stock-taking and inventory checks with high accuracy.
  6. Coordinate and develop production plans with management.
  7. Create scheduling processes to meet production and hygiene requirements.
  8. Generate accurate production reports for decision-making.
  9. Create purchase orders and perform administrative tasks.
  10. Manage CHEP movements and audit accuracy.
  11. Coordinate with external customers regarding returns of empty kegs.
  12. Perform any other tasks as requested by the Directors.
Experience
  • Buying/Planning Supply Chain experience, especially in Food, Drink, or FMCG manufacturing.
  • Warehouse and forklift experience.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with seasonal demand.
Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Intermediate Excel and MRP/ERP skills.
Qualifications
  • Forklift license (Desirable).
  • CIPS Level 4 or above (Desirable).
