Supply Chain Coordinator / Customer Coordinator
About the Role:
We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator / Customer Coordinator to join an industrial manufacturing environment and take responsibility for the outbound flow related to customer deliveries.
The role combines supply chain coordination, customer relationship management, production planning and logistics, ensuring that customer requirements are met while maintaining close communication with internal teams, suppliers, carriers and customers.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with different departments across the site and the wider organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Import and manage customer orders and EDI data through the ERP system (QAD/SAP).
- Proactively manage customer interactions and anticipate changes in delivery schedules.
- Monitor customer demand and analyze volume fluctuations, identifying potential deviations from contractual requirements.
- Prepare and lead the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand and EDI data.
- Coordinate logistics activities related to new product development and product launches.
- Organize and monitor transportation for customer deliveries.
- Manage the external transportation budget and monitor logistics costs.
- Manage spare parts activities, including purchasing, sales, order preparation and deliveries.
- Coordinate with customers, external warehouses and transport providers.
- Manage and follow up on customer complaints.
- Participate in regular customer review meetings.
- Coordinate with internal Logistics and Finance teams, particularly regarding invoicing and delivery requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze deviations and implement corrective action plans.
- Report performance, risks and potential issues to management and ensure appropriate action plans are implemented.
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments and the wider group to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and improve supply chain performance.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, internal regulations and applicable standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing or a related field.
- Previous experience in industrial logistics, supply chain or customer coordination, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Advanced English level (C1).
- Experience working with an ERP system, ideally SAP or QAD.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys and Ishikawa.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and manage priorities effectively.
