Supplier Quality Serial Life Engineer

What are my responsibilities?

Reporting directly to the Site Supplier Quality Manager, your main role will be to ensure good quality performance of a dedicated supplier panel. Using both quality methods and responsiveness, you will be responsible for containment at the supplier’s site, root cause analysis, managing action plans, and validating the effectiveness and REX of the actions.

You will also conduct audits with our customer for a dedicated supplier list.

What are my objectives?

Apply and deploy the Supplier Quality Assurance policy in accordance with Sourcing.

Manage NCRs and supplier performance for a specific scope of suppliers/projects after FAI + 3 deliveries (SQ scope).

Handle day-to-day non-conformity management, including reactivity to NCRs, replacing defective parts, and implementing containment.

Lead NCR treatment by setting relevant action plans to reach supplier NCR targets.

Charge the cost of non-quality (Conq S1) to the suppliers.

Implement quality walls if necessary.

Challenge suppliers to enforce relevant corrective and preventive actions, and ensure reactivity within the allowed time.

Audit supplier processes to verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and ensure control plan sustainability (regular follow-up on main suppliers).

Prepare and monitor supplier Quality reviews at the unit level to address top issues.

Manage supplier audits with our customer.

Animate your supplier panel.

Review weekly or monthly reports on your supplier panel.

Manage QRQC processes.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
