You will manage supplier performance and conduct audits within the shipbuilding industry, with a salary up to €6000 gross per month. The role allows for hybrid work with up to 38 vacation days. Travel across Western Europe will be required.

Are you ready to ensure world-class quality across a supply chain that drives some of the most advanced engineering projects in Europe? For a client we are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer. Salary up to €6000 gross per month.

Function

As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will take a leading role in safeguarding supplier performance, conducting audits, and implementing robust QA processes that meet the highest industry standards. With frequent engagement at supplier sites across Western Europe, you’ll be at the forefront of guaranteeing excellence in every step of the production process.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Supplier QA Audits: Conduct on-site audits, document findings, and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Manage Supplier Quality Risks: Maintain risk registers and develop strong mitigation strategies.
• Enhance QA Standards: Contribute to the adaptation and application of leading quality assurance principles.
• Ensure Compliance: Verify the proper implementation of supplier quality processes and procedures.
• Develop Tailored QA Approaches: Create customized QA measures for suppliers with unique requirements.
• Provide Strategic Reporting: Deliver clear updates on supplier QA performance and risk mitigation to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Management within naval, defense, shipbuilding, or similarly complex industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes, ideally in shipbuilding or heavy industry.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Assurance, Technical Business Administration, Maritime Technology, Shipbuilding, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Proven expertise in conducting quality audits and managing supplier quality risks.
• Solid understanding of QA standards, with the ability to implement and improve them.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to supplier locations across Western Europe.
