Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions in France seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead commissioning activities for complex on-site plants. You will supervise and execute the commissioning plan, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and cost targets, while coordinating pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks with site teams.

The role involves performing static and dynamic tests, documenting results, participating in site audits, and guiding subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in commissioning or plant activities.
• Know-how in piping design/manufacture and process knowledge.
• Basic understanding of chemical processes, distillation, and automation.

Responsabilités

• Lead the commissioning plan for on-site plants in line with contract requirements.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with site teams and customers.
• Perform static and dynamic performance tests and document results.
• Coordinate site audits and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure QHSE rules are applied during execution of tasks.
• Oversee subcontractor teams involved in commissioning activities.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW at Air Liquide?

Within the framework of project execution environment, supervise & execute the assigned Commissioning Plan for the area - within contractual requirements, quality, schedule and overall cost effectiveness - in order to meet the overall Project objectives / targets.

• Coordinate the pre-commissioning job of on-site plants and large standard plants.
• Carry out Static and Dynamic Performance Tests & Reports of on-site plants and / or in the workshop.
• Coordinate the pre-commissioning and the commissioning job of on-site plants on Customer site (when requested) until the signature of the Performance Tests & Reports and the plant hand-over to the Customer.
• Document the pre-com & commissioning work.
• Participate in site internal audits and supervise the implementation of the corrective and prevention actions.
• Control the construction subcontractor’s Pre-commissioning and Commissioning team dedicated to him/her.
• Lead the work of some pre-commissioning and commissioning operators and vendors during the commissioning task.
• Apply project QHSE rules and procedures during the execution of his/her tasks.

Are you a MATCH?

• Mechanical Engineering Degree (Bachelor's)
• 3+ years of experience
• Familiar with piping design and manufacture knowledge
• Basic knowledge of chemical processes, distillation, process control, automation
