Subsea Package Project Control Lead – Paris

We are seeking a highly experienced Subsea Package Control Lead to oversee project controls for a major offshore energy development. This role is integral in managing contracts, planning, reporting, cost control, risk management, and logistics for the Subsea Production System (SPS) or Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines (SURF) package.

The role will be working on a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Paris, paying a day rate in Euros.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project control, including contracts, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
• Oversee and support the Project Control team within the Subsea Package.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, project procedures, and confidentiality policies.
• Manage contracting processes, budget updates, cost control, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with the integrated project timeline.
• Lead package-specific task forces and transversal activities as required.
• Prepare and ensure high-quality internal and external project reporting.
• Set up and manage the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Coordinate HR and logistics for the package, including office arrangements and workforce mobilization.
• Oversee change order management, claims, and contract variations.
• Ensure proper close-out of all Project Control activities and capture lessons learned.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in project management within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Previous SURF/Subsea project experience.
• Strong background in contract negotiation, writing, and management.
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
• Right to work in the EU.
