MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS

The service holder is responsible for supervising EPC Sub-contractor HSE activities on worksites to ensure, as per Project's HSE objectives, the site personnel safety, construction integrity, respect for the environment, and the reputation of the Company.

Reporting to the Subsea HSE Lead, the service provider will ensure the development and deployment of the Safety Culture in a streamlined approach with the EPC Contractor.

Ensuring that HSE contractual requirements and the implementation of HSE documentation are duly applied by EPC Sub-Contractors, including through day-to-day supervision, and will make the Company HSE presence visible on site.

Will be accountable for demonstrating exemplary behavior regarding H3SE rules & requirements and enforcing HSE execution decisions/directions taken by the Subsea HSE Lead.

Follow-up of Sub-Contractor's HSE site activities and performances will be executed as per Project needs.

ACTIVITIES

As the HSE supervisor, the service holder will demonstrate and execute the following activities:

  • Ensure full site compliance with the Project HSE Management System.
  • Ensure site personnel have the required HSE competencies and that HSE trainings are performed as planned.
  • Develop, as required, additional HSE procedures/instructions at site level.
  • Ensure that the Sub-Contractor enforces his contractual commitments, implements his Contract HSE Plan and Objectives properly, and performs his activities safely, properly, and timely.
  • Inform the Subsea HSE Lead of the need for changes to Construction site Plans or Procedures.
  • Assist the Subsea Lead in resolving specific HSE concerns, reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and perform regular reporting.
  • Follow-up HSE indicators (KPIs) and track anomalies, incidents, and accidents performed by Contractors.
  • Participate in HSE Committees and other Package HSE events.
  • Participate regularly in other package HSE worksite audits, visits, and tours.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all documentation issued under his area of responsibility.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

The activity takes place during the FID phase of a major project in Suriname, a land of opportunity, in an affiliate being created with challenges and scope currently being defined.

The Suriname Project team aims to maximize economic results by optimizing reserves, schedule, reducing costs, and GHG emissions, while maintaining high H3SE standards and focus.
