MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS

The service holder is responsible for supervising EPC Sub-contractor HSE activities on worksites to ensure, as per Project's HSE objectives, the site personnel safety, construction integrity, respect for the environment, and the reputation of the Company. Reporting to the Subsea HSE Lead, the service provider will ensure the development and deployment of the Safety Culture in a streamlined approach with EPC Contractor. Ensuring that HSE contractual requirements and the implementation/compliance to HSE documentation are duly applied by EPC Sub-Contractors, including through the day-to-day supervision, and will make the Company HSE presence visible on site. Will be accountable for demonstrating, individually, an exemplary behavior regarding H3SE rules & requirements and enforcing HSE execution decisions/directions taken by the Subsea HSE Lead. Follow-up of Sub-Contractor's HSE site activities and performances will be executed as per Project needs.

ACTIVITIES

As the HSE supervisor, the service holder will demonstrate and execute a number of activities as described below.

Main Duties

• To ensure full site compliance with the Project HSE Management System.
• To ensure that site personnel have the required HSE competencies and that HSE trainings are performed as planned.
• To develop, as required, additional HSE procedures/instructions at site level.
• To ensure that the Sub-Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments, implementing his Contract HSE Plan and Objectives properly, and performing his activities safely, properly, and timely.
• To inform the Subsea HSE Lead of the need for changes to the Construction site Plans or Procedures.
• To assist the Subsea lead in resolving specific HSE areas of concern, including HSE reviews and risk assessments.
• To monitor and perform regular reporting on HSE activities.
• To ensure follow-up of HSE indicators (KPIs) and tracking of anomalies, incidents, and accidents performed by the Contractors.
• To participate in HSE Committees and other Package HSE events.
• To participate regularly in other package HSE worksite audits, visits, and tours.
• To ensure confidentiality of all documentation issued under his area of responsibility.

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

The activity takes place during the FID phase of a major project in Suriname, a land of opportunity. The project team will be developed to maximize economic results by optimizing reserves, schedule, reducing costs, and GHG emissions, while maintaining high H3SE standards and technical quality.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years
• Experience in similar position: minimum 5 years
• Experience in facilities/yard supervision
• Level/Diploma: Engineer or equivalent
