We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC in Doha, Qatar, for a:
Structural & Piping Engineer
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with NOC HSE and Safety Engineering policies, standards, and guidelines, including international rulesets. The engineer will promote safety culture, develop structural designs, coordinate engineering studies, generate procurement requisitions, evaluate technical bids, review contractor deliverables, and perform quality control and stress analysis using recognized software. The role involves ensuring timely submission of all engineering documentation, overseeing procurement processes, and supporting offshore structural survey campaigns.
Qualifications include a minimum of a higher secondary school education plus a technical diploma (HNC, HND, or equivalent). Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years offshore experience in oil & gas or petrochemical plants. Fluency in English is required, along with good interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
We offer a long-term contract with an attractive daily rate, insurance coverage, transportation, and expatriate-standard accommodation. The position is located in Doha.
Candidate criteria include a minimum of 6 years of experience, valid H2S & T-BOSIET trainings, and the ability to work legally in the location.
