A leading company in renewable energy is hiring a Structural Engineer for the Offshore Wind Courseulles Project. The role involves structural analysis, design, and collaboration with drafting teams. Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience and be proficient in using SACS and ABAQUS. This position offers a 6-month contract with travel expenses covered by the client.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in offshore structural engineering.
• Proficient in SACS, and knowledge of ABAQUS or similar FEA tools required.
• Fluency in English essential; French is a plus.

Hiring: Structural Engineer – Offshore Wind (Courseulles Project)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)

Travel & Expenses: Covered by client (excluding base location)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for offshore wind structures
• Apply industry standards (DNV, API, Eurocode) across design activities
• Use SACS (beam analysis) and ABAQUS (2D/3D FEA) for calculations
• Conduct fatigue assessments and propose remedial solutions
• Review technical drawings and collaborate with drafting teams
• Report to the lead engineer and contribute autonomous design solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in offshore structural engineering
• Proficient in SACS (mandatory) and ABAQUS or equivalent FEA tools
• Strong understanding of structural standards (e.g., DNV-RP-C203, API-RP-2A, Eurocode 3)
• Experience with wind farm projects (fixed or floating) is highly valued
• Comfortable with hand calculations and technical documentation
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); French language is a plus
