Description du poste

As a Structural Designer, you will be part of the design team responsible for delivering engineering solutions for complex and dynamic projects. You will produce high-quality structural drawings, conduct site surveys, and integrate 3D models to ensure the successful execution of offshore and onshore projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality 2D and 3D structural drawings

Create general arrangement (GA) concept drawings and bill of materials (BOM) for estimation

Produce detailed fabrication drawings including welding specifications

Integrate 3D models with Point Cloud data and perform clash detection analyses

Conduct on-site surveys (onshore / offshore) and prepare accurate survey reports and concept drawings

Ensure timely delivery of assigned projects

Maintain compliance with internal standards and technical specifications

Support database and drawing tool updates

Review rough sketches and designs for accuracy

Collaborate with project teams to interpret and adjust design documentation

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Certification or specialization in Structural Drafting

Experience & Skills

Minimum experience in the offshore oil and gas sector

Solid understanding of industry standards, best practices, and safety regulations

Strong knowledge of steel structural fabrication

Familiarity with oil and gas piping systems is a plus

Experience with laser scanning and Point Cloud integration preferred

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and advanced 3D modeling software (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks)

Understanding of offshore structures and ship design principles
