The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-sales or consultancy with a strong technical understanding of cloud technologies. Successful candidates are resourceful, excellent at orchestrating virtual teams, and curious to learn from customers. Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven success in complex technical sales, deployment projects, architecture, design, and support of distributed applications
  • Ability to build deep technical relationships with senior executives and manage stakeholder consensus
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Business-level proficiency in French and German; additional European languages are a plus

Technical Experience (Minimum):

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, architectural design, and building foundational infrastructure
  • Expertise in cloud solutions focusing on reliability, resiliency, scalability, security, performance, cost management, containers (e.g., Kubernetes), observability, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Understanding of competitive cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, with the ability to learn new technologies and trends

Desired Technical Experience:

  • Knowledge of software development processes and languages such as C#, Java, NodeJS, and open-source technologies
  • Experience creating proofs of value, proofs of concept, and demos to instill customer confidence
  • Experience optimizing cloud environments and understanding FinOps practices
  • Azure certifications or equivalent industry certifications

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic technical partnerships early in the sales cycle with startups and cloud-native companies to accelerate growth on Azure
  • Understand customer product strategies and business priorities to craft architectures and forecast cloud consumption
  • Advise on solutions across infrastructure, applications, and build/release domains, aligning with customer strategies
  • Develop deep relationships with technical decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships
