Job summary

Sungrow France is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to bridge PV and energy storage solutions with French customers. You will combine deep technical knowledge with commercial ownership to shape local product strategy and address customer needs across the market.

In this role you will lead pre-sales activities, design solutions, deliver training, monitor market trends, and support sales forecasting. The position requires travel within France and occasional Europe, fluency in English and French,

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a comparable technical field.
Several years of experience in technical sales, product management, pre-sales, business development, or project development within PV, ESS, power electronics, or renewable energy.
Strong understanding of solar inverters, battery energy storage systems, and customer applications in utility-scale and commercial and industrial environments.
Ability to combine technical detail with commercial thinking and communicate complex solutions clearly to different stakeholder groups.
Experience gathering market intelligence, analysing competitor solutions, and turning insights into practical product or sales recommendations.
French and English at C1 level; additional European languages or Mandarin are a plus.
Confident use of Microsoft Office and CRM tools, with a structured, proactive, and customer-focused working style.
Willingness to travel regularly within France and occasionally across Europe.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical and commercial point of contact for customers, including EPCs, developers, investors, installers, and technical advisors.
Provide pre-sales support, including solution design, product selection, technical presentations, and clarification of customer requirements.
Translate French market needs, customer feedback, and competitive insights into clear recommendations for Product Management and global teams.
Support the introduction, positioning, and lifecycle management of Sungrow PV and ESS products in France.
Deliver product training, workshops, and technical enablement sessions for customers, partners, and internal sales teams.
Monitor market trends, regulations, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities to support sales strategy and forecasting.
