Work With Island in Paris is seeking a supply chain specialist on a Master’s degree internship to secure our core engine: sourcing, cost optimization, and component substitutions. You will work with Tatiana (Product Performance Director) and Léa (Production Engineer) to protect EBITDA and drive European supplier collaboration.

Under mentorship, you will qualify new suppliers, manage alternative components, support production integration, monitor stocks, and update CoC/DoC documents.

Qualifications

• Master’s student (M2) from engineering school with 6+ months of internship or apprenticeship in physical products.
• Strong purchasing, sourcing and demand planning knowledge.
• Excellent Excel and GSuite/Notion skills.

Responsabilités

• Secure BOM and find alternative components; run benchmarks and negotiate prices.
• Source and qualify new suppliers across France/Europe; include on-site visits.
• Support production by integrating new components and optimize supply processes with engineers.
• Monitor component stocks and delivery flows; manage high-tension periods.
• Update critical technical documentation (CoC, DoC) and monitor quality performance.
