Vast is seeking a Project Manager, European Industrial Partnerships in Paris to lead identification, development, and structuring of European partnerships supporting flight seat campaigns. You will coordinate with Vast HQ and European partners, manage proposals, and drive research on the European space sector.

Fluency in English is required; French is a strong plus. The role involves travel across Europe and collaboration with Directors and a small European office in a fast-moving, US-backed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, international affairs, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the space industry, business development, industrial partnerships, procurement, or research and market intelligence roles.
• Direct experience with European industrial suppliers, primes, and/or institutional stakeholders.
• Experience interfacing between a company/program and external customers at technical and management levels.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools for analysis and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluency in English required; French is a strong plus; other European languages appreciated.
• Eligibility to work in France.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain a structured view of the European industrial landscape relevant to Vast: suppliers, capabilities, national strengths, and potential partners across member states.
• Identify, develop, and structure European industrial partnership opportunities for agency and government customers.
• Conduct in-depth research on the European commercial space sector to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare tailored research briefs, market intelligence, and background materials for meetings, proposals, and negotiations.
• Manage the preparation of proposals, offers, and responses to institutional tenders with inputs from Vast HQ and European partners.
• Own CRM records, pipeline reporting, and internal tracking tools for the European team.
• Lead the planning and execution of Vast’s presence at European conferences, industry days, and customer events.
• Provide project management across human spaceflight and satellite workstreams in support of Directors.
• Deputize for the Directors on industrial partnership and research matters and mentor junior staff.
