Alta Ares is seeking a Strategic Operations Coordinator based in Kyiv to serve as the operational backbone for Ukraine. You will coordinate field activities, manage partner relationships locally, and connect Ukraine operations with the Paris HQ.

This high-trust role requires exceptional organization, discretion, and the ability to navigate fast-moving environments across multiple time zones and languages.

Qualifications

• Native Ukrainian speaker — mandatory.
• English language proficiency at B2 level minimum.
• French language proficiency is a meaningful plus.
• Extremely organized and reliable; own tasks end-to-end.
• Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information.
• Strong interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in defence technology and European security.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Ukraine operations and field activities.
• Act as primary link between Kyiv office and Paris HQ.
• Translate and relay context across time zones and languages.
• Support onboarding of Ukraine-based team members and ensure alignment with processes.
• Liaise with Ukrainian defence partners and government contacts.
• Organize field demonstrations, events, and media coordination.
• Maintain records of partner interactions and follow-ups.
• Assist in building Alta Ares' local network in Ukraine.
