Job summary

Mistral AI in Paris is seeking an HR Business Partner to support managers and employees across the full lifecycle, helping build scalable people practices as the company grows in a fast-changing startup environment.

You will partner with leaders on employee relations, performance, learning, and retention, ensure compliance with French employment law across EMEA, and help shape People policies to reinforce Mistral AI's culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive HR experience in startup or high-growth environments.
• Experience supporting employee populations across multiple countries, esp. in EMEA, with French employment law.
• Experience managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach to improving HR processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
