Alstom Valenciennes seeks a Finance Project Expert to join the Finance Team in managing project financials and risks. You will partner with the core project team and contract managers to ensure profitable performance across large mobility projects.

The role requires 5+ years in Finance, solid Excel and SAP skills, and fluency in English; experience in rail or industrial projects is a plus. An on-site position in Valenciennes with international project exposure.

Qualifications

Master's level degree in business, engineering or university equivalent.
5+ years of Finance experience; auditing or project operations background is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, prioritization and teamwork; fluent English.
Advanced Excel and SAP skills are required.

Responsabilités

Participate in overall Project Management process with the Project Manager.
Be a trusted Finance Business Partner for the project.
Supervise, analyze and support all finance topics of the project.
Control financial performance and propose actions to improve contract margin and cash flow.
Raise Early Warnings to alert management of risks and opportunities.
Improve accuracy of forecasted revenue, costs and cash; ensure IFRS compliance.
Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit and other finance functions.
Support Contract & Claim Management focusing on finance topics and risk profile.
