BOSS Energy Consulting is seeking a senior Finance & Accounting leader to drive budgeting, close, and controls for its battery storage assets. You will manage P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow while delivering board-ready reporting and liquidity plans.

You will oversee tax, insurance, compliance, revenue oversight, and a coordinated finance operations function, partnering with the CFO and Deputy CFO on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of relevant experience gained in an audit firm, an energy or infrastructure business, or a similar complex environment.
• Solid grounding in accounting, FP&A, cash management and internal controls; exposure to project finance or SPV structures is advantageous.
• Comfortable operating at both a detailed, hands-on level and in senior decision-support settings.
• Strong financial modelling and spreadsheet capability; capable of implementing finance systems and automated workflows.
• Fluent in the local working language plus professional-level English.

Responsabilités

• Drive the annual budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts, monthly performance reviews and management reporting.
• Maintain a joined-up view of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with variance commentary and follow-up actions.
• Prepare finance and performance content for Board and investor materials ahead of CFO review.
• Develop a rolling 13-week cash forecast alongside a medium-term liquidity plan, flagging funding needs early.
• Take ownership of the monthly close timetable ensuring revenue, costs, accruals and provisions are recognised correctly.
• Oversee outsourced bookkeeping, payroll preparation and statutory accounts, liaise with auditors and external advisers.
• Design approval hierarchies, payment controls, procure-to-pay processes and anti-fraud safeguards.
• Lead a controlled rollout of e-invoicing and maintain audit trails.
• Manage internal tax calendar and coordinate corporate, VAT and project-related tax matters with advisers.
• Coordinate insurance arrangements for the corporate entity and its projects with brokers.
• Monitor claims, policy renewals, terms and lender/counterparty evidence.
• Keep finance policies, records and controls documented and fit for scale.
• Oversee end-to-end revenue control for outsourcing contracts and perform reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations, Data and Technology on system improvements and automation.
• Manage, mentor and organise the Finance Operations Analyst and Administrative & Finance Assistant.
• Partner with the Deputy CFO on debt, offtake agreements, shareholder matters and intercompany services.
• Ensure a smooth handover from deal execution into post-closing finance operations.
• Provide the CFO with decision-ready analysis and escalate significant risks promptly.
