Council of Europe in Strasbourg seeks a Director to lead the Directorate of Information Technology (DIT). You will guide technology strategy, digital transformation, data and AI, ensuring a secure and cost-effective digital environment across the organisation.

You will translate priorities into a cohesive digital portfolio, balancing innovation with resilience, security, and accessible services for staff and governing bodies, while managing budgets and external partners.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in technology and digital management within a large organisation.
• Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation from strategy to adoption.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, sizable budgets, technology portfolios and external suppliers.
• Very good knowledge of English or French and a good knowledge of the other, or ability to acquire rapidly on the job.

• Lead the Directorate of Information Technology and act as senior adviser on technology, digital transformation, data and AI.
• Ensure a secure, resilient, cost-effective digital environment and responsive IT services for staff and governing bodies.
• Translate institutional priorities into a coherent digital portfolio, balancing innovation with operations, security and affordability.
• Oversee governance, strategy, investments, procurement and supplier relationships in coordination with other services.
