Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Category Buyer to join the General Procurement Business Services Team in Toulouse, France. You will procure group-wide business services, manage a large spend, and work across SCQ and Px operations to maximize value.

You will lead market intelligence, tender processes, and complex negotiations while coordinating with multifunctional teams. English proficiency is required; additional European languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a buyer.
• Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent business experience.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder management at the executive level and strong assertiveness when negotiating with service providers.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to implement agile procurement strategies based on market evolution and business needs.
• Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory (French, German, or Spanish is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement activity for a strategic portfolio of service providers for SCQ and Px operations.
• Execute the Procurement Market Segment Strategy, perform market intelligence, and manage call-for-tenders including complex contract drafting.
• Lead Multi-functional / Multi-divisional Teams across the contract lifecycle, driving improvement and supplier performance.
• Maintain robust relationships with market-leading suppliers through business reviews and align senior internal stakeholders.
