Job summary

Airbus SE is seeking a Category Buyer to join the General Procurement Business Services Team in Toulouse, France. You will manage a strategic portfolio in Supply Chain & Procurement Business Operation Services, with spend >€70M per year, driving market intelligence, tenders, and negotiations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build executive relationships, and contribute to sustainability and digitalisation roadmaps. English proficiency is mandatory, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder management at the executive level.
• Strong assertiveness when negotiating with market-leading service providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement activity for a strategic portfolio of service providers for Supply Chain & Procurement Business Operation Services (spend >70M€/year).
• Execute the Procurement Market Segment Strategy, perform market intelligence, and manage call-for-tenders (CFTs).
• Lead Multi-functional / Multi-divisional Teams across the contract lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and supplier performance monitoring.
• Manage relationships with market-leading suppliers through business reviews with internal stakeholders.
• Drive projects advancing Airbus’ roadmaps in sustainability, supply chain resilience, digitalisation, and competitiveness.
