What you’ll do…

  • Drive new business development with North America’s largest school districts
  • Prospect new districts while collaborating with a strategic sales consultant
  • Develop break-through strategies and creative approaches to building awareness, relationships, and trust
  • Source new sales pipeline through a variety of outreach methods, including phone, email, events, and social selling
  • Develop strategies to continuously strengthen a network of key relationships over time
  • Attend conferences, customer visits, and other networking events
  • Engage leads through high-value follow-up communications, consistently sharing relevant content
  • Qualify leads using specific guidelines and criteria in Salesforce (CRM)
  • Prioritize and organize the lead pipeline on a daily basis for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure all sales activities are accurately recorded and tracked in Salesforce
  • Share best practices and be ready to share your learnings with fellow team members
  • Take part in weekly, monthly, and annual sales meetings

What we’re looking for…

  • A strong knowledge of the K-12 market, key trends, and challenges educators face
  • Previous experience working in a K-12 school district as an educator or administrator, supporting college and career readiness initiatives (preferred)
  • The ability and confidence to cold-call and engage in meaningful discussions
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • An empathetic and genuine manner of communicating
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Resilient, with a positive outlook and unwavering drive to succeed
  • A team player who is open to growth and professional and personal development
  • Ability to travel across North America, 2-3 times a month on average.
  • Applicants must be based in the US
