The Role

We are seeking a proactive, creative, and tenacious Senior Enterprise Sales Professional to drive new cyber security business across all vertical markets within an assigned account set. This will be predominately a white space environment.

This role will demand interaction with large-scale enterprises at the CIO, IT Director, and CISO level, as well as with technical staff within the security and IT organization.

Responsibilities include the ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, advanced solution selling capabilities, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, while consistently and successfully closing business for Proofpoint.

Your day-to-day

  1. Prospect new and existing accounts, generate interest, qualify, cultivate relationships and successfully develop and close new business
  2. Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles and work with our partners and internal teams to best serve the customer
  3. Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed selling effort into the assigned accounts
  4. Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Proofpoint products and services
  5. Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition
  6. Collaborate with Systems Engineers to organize and deliver compelling and flawless product demonstrations
  7. Partner with the channel to gain access into new accounts
  8. Deliver strong operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy and SFDC pipeline development

What you bring to the team

  1. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets within the cybersecurity or IT Infrastructure marketplace is a must
  2. Proven ability to articulate a large portfolio of products – solutions and services
  3. Ability to develop relationships at the C-level
  4. Business acumen, to understand the cyber security threat landscape, and become the trusted advisor of the CISO
  5. Able to effectively collaborate and work with channel partners
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Proofpoint’s value
  7. Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  8. Ability to use SFDC, pricing, and other online tools effectively
  9. Existing relationships within similar markets is preferred
  10. In addition to fluency in French, fluency in English is also required
